If you’re reading this, you’re likely in the market for a new therapist and I would love to learn how I can help. Maybe it’s your first time pursuing therapy or you’ve done this before, but you’re ready for a fresh new approach. Either way I’m excited for you to experience all of the incredible benefits that caring for your mental health has to offer.
As a therapist, my role is to guide you along the sometimes messy, yet always rewarding path toward achieving optimal wellness - whatever that might mean for you. Everyone deserves to feel like the best version of themselves and I want to help you get there. The hardest part is deciding to start and if you’re reading this, you’ve already taken the first step!
So, ready to talk? I’m here to listen.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I grew up as the eldest of three sisters. Being a big sister is an integral part of my identity, extending to the therapy room as many clients often tell me that I bring “big sister energy” to our sessions.
I consider myself lucky to have learned at an early age that I have a natural ability to connect with others, making my decision to pursue a degree in psychology feel like less of a career path and more of a calling. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida State University and later went on to complete my graduate studies at the University of Miami, where I earned a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have been practicing ever since!
Curious what it’s like to work together?
I pride myself on tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and stray away from a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. I use an eclectic approach and pull from the following models: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness based practices.
I find my career to be more of a calling as I've been able to relate and connect with a wide variety of people, women especially, for as long as I can remember. This allows me to meet individuals wherever they may be on their personal wellness journeys
I am a firm believer that trust works both ways, so as you allow me to get to know you, I will allow you to get to know me!
Adolescence and young adulthood can be a complex and challenging time for women, especially. I am passionate about partnering with you through these challenges in support of your strength and confidence.
